Red Eyed Tree Frogs' Tank

Description

I've done a lot of work with this over time. I used a bunch of fake plants, took the leaves off and hot glued them to the outside of the tank, to make them feel more secure and hidden. The right side is also all fake leaves on the outside. So then they feel like they're surrounded by leaves. I want to get a new background eventually cause it's getting kind of old. Literally. But also I mean, it's getting boring to look at cause I've seen it for years.

I added some bamboo into the cage, after boiling and baking of course. I also put in this awesome piece of wood with moss growing on it. I boiled and microwaved that. I also have some regular sticks and pieces of bark to climb on.

I have fake grass and fake flowers, fake vines and fake leaves.

A bunch of live plants, I have algaonema and pothos and some ivy (not poison).

Then they have two water bowls, one has moving water and the other has still water.

They've also got a heating pad on the bottom on the right.

Their substrate is coconut fiber and store bought moss.

They've got their clear feeding bowl in there, as well as a fake rock which they use to perch on before jumping in to catch their food.

Also have some tank cleaners, isopods and springtails.

I use a uvb light, mostly just to keep the plants alive.

Oh, and I put a towel over the top to keep the humidity in.

I gotta say, they truly love their home!

I love the silk leaves attached to the front outside of the tank! Way to think outside the box! How unique it's my favorite part of this setup. It gives it so much depth and reminds me of a zoo tank that has fancy sculpture engraved into the wall around it.
