Now, I'm jealous again! I'd like a walking stick, but I don't have easy access to their food source.

Sorry you're jealous! And she's adorable, I'm glad to be able to experience having one. What do you mean you don't have access to their food source...? I read they eat leaves and other plants. :?

They need Bramble or Eucalyptus leave specifically. They rarely will take much else well. That's why you never find them in my area anymore.

Hmm. Maybe I should go back to where she was found and collect the plants from around there. I looked up Bramble and Eucalyptus leaves but I don't remember seeing those there. Though, there were some soft plants which I figure might be tasty for a Walking stick. Mine has been pooping daily and doesn't seem to be thin, I'm not sure if that's 'cause she's still eating under my care of if she's just living off from what she ate before she was captured. Either way, I'll be sure to collect some leaves from there, for sure. Hopefully tomorrow. I've only ever seen a Walking stick once in my life when I was 6 or 7. I lived on a lake and we had trees and plants surrounding our house.
