i wonder if the eggs and nymphs are the same color (brown) so the nymphs will blend into them, and will be less likely to be eaten, the one brown one turned brown quite fast, its on the eggs here, you cant even see it. interesting how tenodera sinensis nymphs hatch out baige, like the ootheca. and phyllocrania paradoxa hatch out brown, like the ootheca. just a thought!

ill try feeding them fruit flies in a couple days, if theyre too big for the assassins then ill release the little guys.

the mother laid these only about a week and a half ago id say, they hatched quick! the second batch of eggs was laid the day after the first batch so those should be hatching soon too.
